I love Leopard’s media browser built into the open/save dialogs. I love it so much I wish the iPhone would let me similarly pick from photos and videos when I tap “Upload file” on a webpage. But I digress; the minor improvement I’d like to see in Mac OS X - mocked up here - is the ability to quickly take a photo right from the Open/Save dialog. It would save me a few seconds and spare me the mental load of dealing with a new saved file.
